So I was in the study last night minding my own business when Steve walked in...
Steve: What are you doing?
Me: Just working on a new quilt design.
Steve: Cool. You should name it "Death Star".
Me: What??
Steve: You know... from Star Wars. The blocks kind of look like that.
Me: Oh dear.
So before you start thinking I'm the only one with a quilt naming problem in our house, don't forget Steve.
At least death has never been in the name of one of my quilts!

I have actually been talking about the Lego DeathStar pretty intensely with anyone who will listen lately. It's so cool. I put in on my Christmas list. :-)
haha! my sons would looooove to have the LEGO Death Star. when we were trying to name our pet bunny, they picked lots of names inspired by Star Wars & How to Train your Dragon, like Darth Vader and Death Fury. must be a guy thing :)

We're big fans of the Death Star here too. I hope for your sake that each block doesn't have as many small bits as the Lego version though!
Ah but just think of it! It would be veryhard to forget! And more than likely the only Death Star in the quilty community! Just saying! Plus he would feel like he somehow helped you. Out! LOL

don't forget Balls to the Walls...wasn't that one??? My husband named my first pattern. It was beginner's luck b/c subsequent efforts were unsuccessful :)
