Just a quick note to let ya'll know that I'm still OK. :)
It's been an interesting few weeks and I would be lying if I said that I haven't had lots of anxiety lately. Fortunately I go back to the allergist on Monday to do all the allergy testing.
I'm hoping and praying that the tests show what I'm allergic to so I can eat a meal without feeling a surge of panic with even the slightest itch anywhere near my mouth.
I haven't been able to take any kind of allergy medication since Tuesday because antihistamines interfere with allergy testing. If you know anything about springtime allergies in Texas then I'm sure you know what I'm referring to when I say that the inside of my head it itching.
Maybe if I'm not sneezing like crazy, I'll be able to do a little sewing this weekend. I hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend and a happy Mother's Day on Sunday!

So happy that you dropped in.....hope all is better soon!
Happy Mother's Day!
I hope that what ever you are allergic to is not prevalent in your favorite foods.
Glad you are feeling better. I know what you mean. The last few days of rain in Austin have the mold count going through the roof. Unfortunately that is the only thing I am allergic too. Breathing is overrated.
Have you ever heard of laser therapy for allergies??? my hubby just went thru a series of laser treatments and says that he had noticeable differences within 2 days after the first treatment. His Chiropractor was who did the treatments - just a thought to pass on.
Jennifer, I'm sorry you're dealing with the stress of all of this. I have had severe pollen allergies for all of my adult life and have found great relief via nasal irrigation. I do not like NetiPots - too awkward, and I've heard tilting the head as they require may contribute to sinus infections. I use NeilMed Sinus Rinse (nasal rinse?) system with outstanding results. When my allergies are at their worst I will use it at least three times a day, and always when coming home after having been outside.
Have you tried showering and washing your hair before bed? That and clean pillowcases dramatically lower the pollens you inhale during sleep. good luck, I hope you feel better soon!
Hope you have a nice mother's day too Jennifer and hope you find out what your allergy is soon - I can't imagine how stressful this all must be.
Happy Mother's Day and thanks for keeping us up to date you know we care. Blessings Sandra
So sorry to hear what you are going through atm. Hope you get some answers soon xxxx
I hope you get it sorted quickly - it would be horrible not being able to eat without wondering if you'll react to it!

Good luck with the appointment. I'm sure you know this, but food allergies are usually worse when nasal allergies are too. Our allergist described the immune system as a cup that gets filled with allergies. Once that cup is full, it overflows (symptoms). Hopefully you can get back on those meds soon!!
Best of luck with your results! We had a really good allergist in McKinney if you should ever need to switch. :)
Be well! I know this is a scary time...Sent you an email a few days ago.

Here's to good allergy testing and finding out what the heck you're allergies are.
Happy Mothers day to you!!!
You poor thing! I'm sending you lots of positive energy and I hope they find an answer for you very soon.
Still thinking about you.
Take care, my dear! If it helps with the anxiety, remember that you went this long in your lifetime without anything like this happening before. Also, now you know the symptoms, have the epipens, and would be way more prepared if it does happen again. However, I totally understand the skittish.
Hopefully, your allergist will have answers for you soon, you can go back to antihistamines and get some relief from the sneezing. Better to sneeze now and get answers than no sneezing and no answers.
Have a Happy Mother's Day. :-)
Oh my goodness, I've just read your last few post - what an awful time you've been having. I hope you get some answers soon and that you find you're badly allergic to something that's really easy to spot and avoid. Take care xx
