My friendly UPS guy will be out in my neighborhood today. My new Juki will be waiting for me when I get home!
I did some last minute sewing this weekend. I figured it wouldn't be a good idea to switch machines in the middle of piecing and putting together a quilt top. So my Whimsy quilt top is done and ready to be quilted. I'm so excited!
I have two other quilt tops waiting to be quilted. I also have two quilts cut out and ready to be pieced. It's out of control!
Chaney helped me pin all those blocks and I must say, she did a great job. All the points matched perfectly.
Gus helped too in his own way. He strategically held the fabric and scraps down. And you're welcome for the modesty patchwork. No one needs to get in trouble at work and I certainly don't need my blog getting blocked for inappropriate content... that would be terrible for traffic. ;)

Too funny. I'm was just sailing alon through my Google Reader and clicked on the patch thinking that is a funny arrow for a video. It finally dawned on me pup was just wanting his privacy...LOL.
I am truly excited for you! You will love your new machine. =)
Love your patch. I hope you love your new sewing machine. I am looking forward to read how you like it.
love the modesty patchwork. that is one thing that is super gross about boy dogs!
How exciting to get a new machine ~ nothing quite like a new toy!
Love the patch on Gus ~ modesty is a must (teehee).
Funnee!! :-) Julierose
exciting day! I was sewing out of the box well within the hour. It's a really easy set up.
Im waiting for my new Juki too!! I hope you love yours :)
I'm sure you've had an exciting evening! Congrats!
You made me laugh when I noticed the little tag covering the dog, lol. I have that problem when I take photos of my guy, too.
I wanted to let you know that I used your method to make triangles and it was fun. I posted a photo of my little piece and a link to your tutorial. I am not a great quilter but I love to create.
