I just finished reading your guest post over at the stash manicure blog. I left a comment there.
I've been wanting to make some mug rugs as a special thank you for some people who were extra generous with our shower gift. I didn't have any idea where to begin. Now that I've read this tutorial, I know exactly what to do! I love the pocket, too. Such a nice and special touch. So cute!!!
I can't wait to make these. In fact, I might start now since my attempt to go to bed early failed. Horrible heartburn....thanks pregnancy. Eight more weeks!

OMG! The pocket is so fun! I've never seen one with that feature. Love love love. After we're finished with the quiltalong, I'm going to see if I can crank out several of these as xmas gifties (how awesome is it that everyone in my husband's fam drinks tea like it's their religion, LOL!!).

I just wandered over from SM. I absolutely love your mug rug, especially with the addition of a pocket. This would be a wonderful gift to give a friend, maybe along with a coffee/tea cup.
Cute mug rug! These seem to be popping up everywhere lately. I'm thinking of making one for my sister as a little Christmas gift...I bought the mug already and will try to make the rug to match somewhat. Add some cookies, and maybe some coffee and it's a go! :)
