Mug {rug} of Scraps

I'm guest blogging over at Stash Manicure today and I'm so excited about it!!  Have you seen that blog?  It's full of great ideas for managing, sewing from, and utilizing your stash.  I'm inspired in some way every time I read over there.  And Madame Samm... she is one of the funniest, most genuine people that I have met blogging...

Today I posted a tutorial on making a mug rug from scraps so go take a look!

And see that cute mug rug up there?

I'm giving it away!

Just leave me a comment here for one entry.  For a second entry become a follower or tell me that you already are.  Mug, tea, and spoon are not included... ;)

I'll announce the winner Monday evening at 10 pm CST.  Have a warm, wonderful, & cozy weekend!

Cute, Cute! Just saw your post on Stash Manicure. I am falling in love with all the cute mug rugs I've been seeing all over blog land. Yours is great with my favorites of matroyshkas and polka dots.

I love all these mug rugs, but I love how you added your special touch with the pocket. And the little matryoshka doll fabric is just too cute - they work so well with the linen.

I've seen lots of mug rugs and that's got to be one of the most endearing. I love your work and your quilting philosophy. Thanks for the chance to own this little beauty.

I just finished reading your guest post over at the stash manicure blog. I left a comment there.

I've been wanting to make some mug rugs as a special thank you for some people who were extra generous with our shower gift. I didn't have any idea where to begin. Now that I've read this tutorial, I know exactly what to do! I love the pocket, too. Such a nice and special touch. So cute!!!

I can't wait to make these. In fact, I might start now since my attempt to go to bed early failed. Horrible heartburn....thanks pregnancy. Eight more weeks!

Oh! I'm a follower, and I'd love to win this adorable mug rug.

razberiswrl said...

OMG! The pocket is so fun! I've never seen one with that feature. Love love love. After we're finished with the quiltalong, I'm going to see if I can crank out several of these as xmas gifties (how awesome is it that everyone in my husband's fam drinks tea like it's their religion, LOL!!).

Do you need a separate comment for the follower thing? :D
