It's finished! And I love it.
This was my first quilt-along and it was a lot of fun. I'm actually finished a week ahead but only because this upcoming week is going to be a super-busy week. That and I couldn't wait to put the binding on and use my quilt... :)
These are all Denyse Schmidt fabrics from her line Hope Valley. The quilt measures 50 x 60 and I quilted it with an all-over meandering pattern. I really, really like free motion quilting now that I have the hang of it.
The backing and binding are both from my stash of Anna Maria Horner's Garden Party. It feels good to make quilts that are entirely from my stash. There are some gorgeous new fabrics out there but they will still be there when I'm ready to add some fabric back into my stash. At least I hope so...

Beautiful!! Just beautiful!! I'm so proud of you!! Now, do you use a long arm? The quilting is just lovely. Well...the WHOLE piece is just gorgeous!!!! Well done friend,
Sharon
It turned out great -- no wonder you love it! Sage wisdom and advice about the new fabrics -- I need to remember that more. My stash is getting too big -- must use it more LOL!
Fantastico! Looks great. My rows are still waiting to be sewn together. Hopefully I can get some done Thursday.
Love the quilt and the colours are really great.Like you I love to meander when quilting. My new machine has a BSR unit and it is fun to use. It is like cruise control on your machine.
This turned out just lovely. I am delighted that you have found this hobbie so rewarding.
I have watched some videos of free motion quilting and will try my hand at it again. I guess only practice makes perfect. Have a great week.
Oh so beautiful. I am behind and sewed my strips together this weekend. And you are all done! My goal is to machine quilt it myself.
It is really lovely. I love the brick pattern and of course that fabric line is perfect.
This is really pretty!
